How to Edge a Garden Plot with Wood

Edging your garden plots or building raised beds allows for more defined growing spaces within the community garden, and in any place where multiple plantings coexist.

At DUG we partner with Specialty Wood Products to supply the lumber needed to edge or fix garden plot borders, or to build raise beds.

Garden leaders should contact the company representative with the specific wood needs and measurements with ample time to place an order before a scheduled work day. Please provide the garden name to ensure the charges are tied to the garden. Billing is handled through DUG and will be deducted from the garden’s funds.
