Description
Located in the North-west Denver, Eiber School Community Garden, like most of DUG’s gardens, is beautifully designed by DUG’s executive director, Michael Buchenau. Growing a wide range of vegetables, the garden is a great asset to a low-income school where most kids have free lunch. Students enjoy participating in keeping the garden beautiful and every year the school holds a “Healthy Activity Day” where they hold a raffle and give away several hundred pounds of extra vegetables.
